Les Deutsch's Theater Organ

Here are the specifications for my Theater Organ Project. I designed the organ to use Neil Jensen's Keymedia Productions 3/35 Connoisseur Theater Organ, running on a Apple Macintosh MINI Computer for the sound generation. I own several other large theater organ sample sets that can be played from this organ.

I ended up using 30 of the 35 ranks in Neil's sample set and had quite a job fitting these (I wanted them all!) into this console. I have studied a lot of great theater organs and developed this specification as a result. Notice the use of "Alternate Traps" as per George Wright's organs. Several other theater organists helped with this specification by giving me their personal advise and comments. All ranks are sampled from Wurlitzer organs unless otherwise indicated.

Here is the actual specification. I have devised the unification to fit on the console with enough spaces for some intermediate bolster support. There are 140 stop tabs on the double bolster plus 25 tabs on the straight rail for a total of 165 tabs. There are 69 thumb pistons and 16 toe studs.
